- A modified F-Type Connector useful for measuring LNB supply voltages.
- Saleae Logic. An inexpensive 8 channel logic analyzer from Saleae at $150. I use this device pretty much weekly, highly recommended.
- AboveTek USB Power/Current Meter. A $12 pocket sized gadget that measures current and voltage for any USB device. The results are displaying on its LCD display. Voltage is accurate to 10mv, current (amps) are reported 10-20ma lower than actuality. A decent product.
- PCIe Extension Cables. If you need to debug PCIe hardware and have practical space issues around your motherboard then I’ve written about extension cables and often use these.
